SUMMER 2020 HOLIDAY CAMPS

We are delighted to announce that in line with new government guidance for out of school settings and holiday course providers, that we will be running summer camps in various areas. We have very specific venues that we will use to ensure safety of all children attending. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page you will see all the processes we have in place to ensure everyone’s safety, as well as some FAQ’s.

Our very popular  sports courses are for for 5-12 year old boys and girls. We have a variety of sports courses and activities please scroll down to see everything we have to offer.

PLAYERS NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING:

 

Appropriate clothing – dress for the weather

Correct footwear – bring boots and trainers

Packed lunch –  players need to bring their own lunch

Plenty to drink –  There will be no sharing of drinks or food so please bring a lot of fluid

COSTS

All courses are £60 for the 3 days.

You must book all three days due to COVID guidelines as players will be placed into bubbles they must stay in for the duration of the camp. It is not possible to book onto single days.

COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES

FAQ’S

Can we book single days? – Unfortunately, this is not allowed this summer due to the fact we need to keep children in strict bubbles throughout the week.

What is the limit on numbers? – In line with government guidelines we will have maximum bubbles sizes of 15 children, with a maximum of 2 staff working with each bubble. There will always be a registered first aider with each bubble and all staff are DBS checked and qualified. The amount of bubbles we run at each venue will depend on the size of the venue. At our larger venues it is possible to keep bubbles easily separated so we can open the session to more bubbles.

What if the course is cancelled? – If the course is cancelled by TSC or due to changes in government guidelines then all bookings will be refunded in full within 7 days. If you book your course and then cannot/choose not to attend, then no refunds will be given.

Can we turn up and pay on the day? – This is not possible as we need to know everyone attending the camp so we can allocate them to a bubble in advance. We will only be taking online bookings, and these will close 24 hours in advance of the camp.

Can parents stay and watch? – Parents are not permitted to stay as this will cause issues with bubbles and child protection/safety. So, parents must adhere to the drop off and pick up policy for the venue. Parents are not permitted on the venue to mix or interact with other adults.

What if someone shows symptoms on the camp? – They will be isolated straight away in a safe place and monitored from a social distance by a member of staff. Parents will be informed immediately and asked to collect the child. You must then go straight home and request a test through the NHS and isolate for a minimum of 7 days. This child will not be able to attend the rest of the course.

 

ONLINE PRE-BOOKING ONLY

You must pay for your course online and in advance. We will not be accepting any people who turn up or want to pay on the day. This is for multiple reasons. Firstly, it allows us to allocate players into bubbles of the right size and allocate this in advance of the holiday camp. It also means we will not have to handle cash or as all payments will be online.

Bookings must be for the full 3 days of the course; you cannot book individual days as we have to keep groups in the same bubble throughout the week. Bookings will close 24 hours before the camp begins to allow us to organise bubbles.

VENUE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCEDURE

Each venue will have its own specific arrival and departure procedure. Dependent on the venue this may include the car park being segregated into different colours which represent each bubble. Alternatively, some venues may operate a one way drop off and pick up system with staggered drop off and collection times. Dependent on your venue you will be contacted in advance of the course with the procedures for the day.

On arrival the children will be met by the coach allocated to their bubble to sign them in. There is to be strict procedures to minimise adult to adult interaction at the venues and this is between staff and adults from different families. Again, you will be informed of the specific venue procedures by email in advance of the course.

BUBBLES AND GROUPINGS

All children will be in the same bubble throughout the 3 days. You cannot change bubbles through the week and you will be with the same coaching staff in your bubble. The coaching staff will meet you on arrival, spend the day with you, oversee toilet and lunch groupings and organise departure at the end of the day. As soon as you arrive you will be in your bubble and will be directed to specific areas of the venue to ensure separation from other bubbles throughout the day.

We will keep siblings in the same bubble even if they are different age groups, this is to reduce the amount of people they interact with throughout the day.

All children must book on to the full 3 day course and single day bookings are not available due to the fact we have to keep you in the same bubble for the week.

SAFE ACTIVITIES AND GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE

All our sessions will be in line with government guidelines and we will ensure all activities are safe and maintain social distancing rules.

All our practices will involve non-contact and children will adhere to social distancing measures in the practices we do. There will be minimal sharing of equipment and we will sanitise equipment before it is used by another group. This will be kept in line with any government guidance changes.

All children must bring their own drinks and food and there will be strictly no sharing.

The toilets will be managed to prevent overcrowding and will be frequently cleaned throughout the day. Hand sanitiser will be available for all adults and children and frequent stops for hand washing will take place

STAFF TRAINING

All our staff have undertaken training COVID prevention and how to provide a safe environment through online courses.

RISK ASSESSMENTS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We carry out extensive risk assessments of all our venues and stick strictly to current government guidelines. This may mean we are not using all our usual venues this summer, but we put the safety of the children first.
